The head of IT is responsible for managing the overall support function of systems development, analysis, application maintenance, operating and security to ensure the business has the technical capabilities needed to reach success and drive growth.
Control budget and report on expenditure, ensuring procurement on cost efficient basis in line with the IT budget.
Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies.
Conducting IT steering committee meetings & ensure proper IT governance practice within the bank.
Determines IT strategy which supports business objectives, priorities and allocates resources to ensure projects are on time and within budget.
Achieve IT Related TAT defined in SLA / ISM & facilitate segments in achieving their CSS targets. Manage Software Change Control.
Liaising with other departments, determining, and addressing their IT needs and req
Ensure all possible measures for conducting internal / external IT Audit along with SBP Inspection to achieve satisfactory rating & comments.
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
Keep abreast with latest technology and ability to direct research into IT solutions.
Excellent written, oral, and communication skills.
Interpersonal skills and must be able to collaborative with stakeholders.
Qualification & Experience:
Education: BSc/BA in Computer Science, engineering, or relevant field; Master’s degree will be a plus. International Level certifications i.e., CISA, CISM, PMP, CISSP, ITIL preferable.
Experience: 15 years’ experience managing and/or directing an IT Functions with delivery of core projects in banking sector
